FACTORS OF PRODUCTION:

LAND:

HADCO project site area is 350 km² fully utilized and company ownership. HADCO is further applying for extra land for its investment expantions.

CAPITAL:

HADCO finances its projects to achieve added values although it has successful deals with the Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF).

MANPOWER:

HADCO staff is exceeding 1350 persons from different nationalities living inside HADCO Residential Area either families or bachelors.

MANAGEMENT:

HADCO is following the most recent organization and methods to cope with the globalization developments for the achievement of its objectives effectively and efficiently in accordance with seasons and time schedules.

MANAGEMENT FUNCTIONS:

PLANNING:

HADCO acts to get its short, medium, and long term plans up to ten years goals are clearly identified and chosen from among alternatives suitable with the company resources and capabilities.

CONTROL:

Measurement of performance against results is done in accordance with the agreed upon standards on continuous bases to impose internal audit culture as an important factor and to protect HADCO rules and benefits.

HADCO ACTIVITIES

HADCO is considered as one of the pioneers in the diversified agricultural development since 21 years through its participation in the production of the following:

HADCO olive extraction Factory has started its operations last season. The purpose of this factory is to serve farmers in both Hail and Gassim Regions. Quality of olive oil produced in this factory is very high.

HADCO OBJECTIVES:

HADCO is one of the first agricultural companies established in Saudi Arabia in the year 1982. The objectives of the company are grain and fodder production, horticulture, animal production, food processing, and cold storage. The Board of Directors plans are to reach 500,000 chicken/day as a strategic alternative. The slaughterhouse has been improved to slaughter 6000 birds/hours utilizing the most recent advanced technology in this field avoiding any biological and physical risks strictly follwing HACCP prerequisites. HADCO is the first company in the Arabian region and the second in the Middle East qualified for the HACCP certification.

Regarding the poultry feed, HADCO is producing yellow corn in its own fileds purposely to feed HADCO chicken.

HADCO short and medium term plans aim to the achievement of the following:

• Plantation of 100,000 date trees from the most famous varieties (Sukari and Barhi).
• Plantation of 1,000,000 grape trees from the best famous varieties (Black monika, Thompson). 400,000 grapes has already been planted.
• Plantation of 1,000,000 olive trees. 170,000 trees have already been planted. HADCO olive oil extraction Factory started its operations at the end of season 2002. Capacity of this factory is 1.5 tons raw olive per hour. HADCO has set its marketing plans to create the suitable channels of distribution for its diversified products supported with the cold stores 10,000 tons capacity equipped with sorting, grading facilities, and a pre-cooling unit for grapes.
• HADCO, as a member of the Seeds Production Committee in K.S.A. is always participating in providing farmers with wheat seeds. On the other hand HADCO is considered as a distinguished establishment in Hail Region as it participates continuously in training graduates and students in the region, providing laboratory services to the farmers, hosting groups from both Hail and Gassim region all through the year. HADCO is famous as a tourist beautiful area.
